• Where: Vidy parc in Lausanne. See below for GPS and details.

• Price: 5 CHF entry fee. Twint. Cash. 

• Ace Pot: Optional; 2 CHF.

• Divisions: MPO and FPO

• Trophies: One trophy per division. Probably also some CTP.

• How Far? About 1h 15m from Geneva or Neuchatel, about 1h 45m from Schmitten. (Includes walking to the meeting spot.)

• Format: Two rounds of competition (10 holes). The start will be shotgun. Also CTP on one hole.

• How Long? One round before lunch, one after. We expect to be finished by 16:00. As of now we have not considered registration for only one round, but email us if you really want to come and can’t make it for both. throw@lausanne-discgolf.ch

• Lunch: We’ll organize delivery of food on your behalf and you reimburse us; OR bring your own food. There are picnic tables and drinking water available, toilets nearby as well.

• Locker: We’ll provide a van where you can lock your stuff during your rounds.

• Parking: There’s free parking available right next to the meeting spot. 

Last minute details may be shared with registered players prior to the event by email.

We reserve the right to change the layout last minute (even though it’s November, this is a public park and there may be something unexpected…)

Caddybook Essentials

OBs, Hazards, etc. 

DGMetrix does not have the tools to map all these features. Read each hole's description or be penalized! ;-) 

In general, all clearly defined paths are OB and also taboo. 
The air space above them is taboo. You are not allowed to intentionally play over any clearly defined paths like runner's paths or reinforced paths. If you're off the fairway close to a path, you have to go through the woods. (This mostly comes in play on hole 9).

OBs includes the runner's path on the grass where it's clearly visible. When in doubt, play provisional. When it's a close call (hard to define edges of path), benefit goes to the player.

Hole 1

Prominent mando-right tree. Basically the right-most tree.  Dropzone is on the downslope, beyond the crest of the hill on a straight path to the basket.

Triple mando! If you miss off the tee, there's a makeable dropzone. 

Hole 6

The same mando-right as on hole 1. Prominent right-most tree. Same dropzone as on hole 1 is also available. 

Hole 7

Hole 8

The big tree and fenced area is all OB. The road behind the basket is also OB. Dropzone available, same for both. If you end up in one of the tree protection slats right next to the basket, you get a free relief not closer to the basket. If you are simply impeded by the tree protection slats, deal with it ;-). (Maybe the woods will also be OB, or hazard.)

Hole 9

OB path behing the basket. 

Beware. You may end up in the woods on the right side with a clear shot above the runner's path to the basket. This is forbidden play. You are not allowed to use the air space above the path. Go through the woods. 

Hole 10

Read carefully. There are two half-circles. The "bulls-eye" is all good. C1-ish is hazard. C2-ish is OB and you go to the dropzone.
